Retaining Structures
In today`s technology, the reinforced concrete retaining walls are replaced by retaining walls equipped with geosynthetic materials in consideration of time constraints and cost factors.
On the ground that is leveled, geogrids in calculated specifications are laid down, and on the top they are filled with the filling material, which is laid down in a thickness that has been previously calculated.
Following this process the finished work is bundled up. This process is repeated for each elevation followed by compression.
These projects do not include reinforced concrete and as such they will be resistant and flexible against any settlements that may take place in the ground.
